Accomack Co. 911 calls affected after Verizon Wireless experiences issues

Officials say 911 calls from cell phones may have been affected after service issues were experienced, in Accomack County.

The Eastern Shore of Virginia 911 Center says on Tuesday, around 8:45 AM, Verizon Wireless experienced issues that may impact 911 calls from cell phones, in Accomack County. Officials urge the public to use a landline phone to make 911 calls if they are unable to do so using a cell phone.
