UPDATE: Wanted Del. inmate surrenders in Georgetown

The Delaware Department of Correction says on Wednesday, efforts of the SCCC Escape Recovery Team prompted a wanted inmate, Tywon Williams, to turn himself in to the Sussex Work Release Center, in Georgetown.

DOC officials say, Williams was wanted after he did not return to the Sussex Community Correctional Center, in Georgetown, from an approved work pass, on July 17. Authorities report that Williams was charged with escape and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $5,000 bail.
