Selbyville farm collecting donations for Texas

One farm in Sussex county is stepping up to collect donations for Texas.

Magee Farms in Selbyville is working with three Gumboro churches to send necessities

Organizers say Gumboro can be quite the drive if you're coming from the beach, so Selbyville is a great half way mark.

Magee Farms has a box for donations.

Currently, Red Cross isn't taking any more women's or men's clothing, so they are now accepting anything for babies.

They're also accepting cleaning supplies blankets and monetary donations.

We're told they hope to send three tractor trailers, which cost about $1,400 each.

Magee Farms is accepting donations from 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. every day.

They plan on heading out for Texas on September 11th.
