Police: Suspect wanted after striking pedestrian in Princess Anne

Police say that they are investigating a hit and run crash that happened on Tuesday evening in Princess Anne.

According to Maryland State Police Princess Anne Barrack, witnesses and a victim say that on Tuesday night at 10:50 PM, a black Mazda passenger vehicle struck a pedestrian who was walking on Somerset Avenue in the area of U.M.E.S. Boulevard in Princess Anne.

After the crash, the vehicle fled the scene. The pedestrian, 19-year-old Dwight Nichols of Princess Anne, suffered non life threatening injuries and he was transported by Princess Anne EMS to Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
