Police: Injuries reported after crash involving dump truck in Millsboro

Police say that they are currently on the scene of a serious crash north of Millsboro on Wednesday morning.

According to Delaware State Police, a crash happened that involves a car and a dump truck. The collision happened near the intersection of Betts Pond Road and Delaware Avenue around 11:38 AM on Wednesday morning.

Police say that injuries have been reported in the crash, but the exact number and the seriousness of those injuries is unclear at this time. Betts Pond Road eastbound and westbound are currently closed in the area.
