Officials: Smyrna man to be sentenced after pleading guilty to child pornography

A Smyrna man is facing at least four years in prison, after pleading guilty to child pornography charges, on Friday.
The Delaware Attorney General's Office says on Friday, 50-year-old Michael Dennis, of Smyrna, pleaded guilty to charges two counts of dealing in child pornography and two counts of possession of child pornography. The charges stem from a February 2017 investigation, where members of the Child Predator Task Force executed a search warrant at Dennis' home on Black Diamond Road, and found images of children involved in prohibited sexual acts as defined by Delaware law.
According to officials, the 50-year-old is facing at least four years in prison when sentenced by a Superior Court judge in October.
