DSP: Lincoln pedestrian robbery under investigation; suspect sought

Police are looking for a suspect who they say hit a pedestrian in the back of the head and robbed him, in Lincoln.
Delaware State Police say on Wednesday, just before 10:00 PM, a man was walking on Herring Branch Road, near Oriole Lane, when he was approached from behind, in Lincoln. According to the report, at this time, the man as struck in the back of the head with an unknown object, causing him to fall on the ground. While on the ground, troopers say the suspect took the victim's wallet out of his pocket. The suspect then reportedly fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The victim apparently sustained slight injuries and went to a local hospital on his own for treatment. It is unknown if the suspect was armed.
