Woman injured after car strikes utility pole; disrupts power for hours in Princess Anne

Police say that a woman suffered minor injuries in a Princess Anne crash on Thursday morning.

According to Princess Anne Police, at 10:27 AM on Thursday morning, officers responded to Somerset Avenue near Hampden avenue for a car crash.

Investigators say that it was a single vehicle crash where a vehicle was traveling south on Somerset Avenue when it crossed over northbound Somerset Avenue and struck a utility pole.

The utility pole was damaged causing electrical service to be disrupted for a few hours. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 23-year-old Dominique Kaley Robinson of Laurel, Maryland.

Robinson was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center for treatment for what was believed to be minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
