UPDATE: Police investigating a crash involving a tractor trailer and a car in Camden

Police have cited Calvin Anderson, 66, for  inattentive driving.

Officials say Anderson was the driver of the tractor trailer and failed to see the traffic in front of him stopping at a red light before colliding into a Dodge Ram pickup truck – thus creating the chained reaction in the crash.

Those involved in the crash were transported to local hospitals and were treated for non life threatening injuries.

The Delaware Department of Transportation is announcing to drivers that all U.S. 13 northbound lanes are open to traffic in Camden (Walmart Shopping Center and Price Honda Intersection.) on Wednesday afternoon.

The U.S 13 southbound left lane at Voshell Mill Road and Lockmeath Way is open to traffic since 3:45 p.m. The right lane will stay closed along with the side streets and left turns until midnight for traffic signal reconstruction.

Del DOT's Transportation Management Center (T.M.C) and WTMC-130 gives drivers traffic conditions throughout the state.

Delaware Department of Transportation says that US 13 Northbound and Southbound is closed at Voshell Mill Road and Lockmeath Way in Dover until further notice on Wednesday morning.

Officials say that due to a crash, Del Dot has closed U.S. 13. They will let drivers know when U.S 13 will re-open. Drivers can adjust their routes or travel times by using Del Dot's Smart phone application.

The Del Dot App is available for Apple and Android smart phones and tablets, and can be downloaded free, search for "Del DOT" at the Apple and Google Play stores.

With the Del Dot app, people can look at real time traffic cameras, travel times, delays, advisories, DART'S Real-Time Transit information and also listen to W.T.M.C 1380 AM.

Police say that they are currently on the scene of a crash involving a tractor trailer and a car in Camden on Wednesday morning.

According to Delaware State Police, around 9:44 a.m. on Wednesday a crash happened on northbound South DuPont Highway near Thomas Harmon Drive (Camden Walmart Entrance). It is unclear what the extent of any injuries are at this time.

U. S 13 northbound is currently closed at Thomas Harmon Drive. U.S. 13 southbound is closed at Voshell Mill Road. Drivers should expect delays in the area and find other routes of travel.
