UPDATE: Joint robbery investigation leads to arson charges for Harrington man

A Harrington man is facing arson charges, after officials say a joint investigation revealed that he was involved in three robberies, in Sussex County.
The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office says that 28-year-old Joshua Lewis, of Harrington, was arrested, on Sunday, by the Dover Police Department in a separate robbery outside the Dover Federal Credit Union.
Authorities say that Lewis was charged with felony arson second degree and other related charges in connection to the July 28th robbery of Shore Bank in Camden. Officials say that Lewis is currently being held at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on a $108,000 bond.
Officials with the Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office say that around 7:00 PM, on July 28th, the Harrington Fire Company responded to the area of Pine Pitch Road, in Harrington, for a report of a vehicle on fire. After investigating the fire, investigators learned that the fire was set on purpose, and the description of the vehicle matched the description of the getaway vehicle in connection with the Shore Bank robbery earlier that day, in Camden.
According to the report, on July 28, 2017, Lewis went into the Shore Bank on South DuPont Highway, and showed a note demanding money. Lewis then fled the scene in a gray Chevrolet Impala.
Lewis is also facing charges in Greenwood in connection to the August 2nd Discover Bank robbery.
Lewis' arrest was a result of a joint investigation between the Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office, the Camden Police Department, the Greenwood Police Department, and the Dover Police Department.
