Six people treated for injuries after Queen Anne’s Co. crash

Police say that six people were injured in a car crash after a driver failed to yield the right of way on Sunday afternoon in Queen Anne's County.
According to Maryland State Police, at 4:45 p.m., troopers responded to Maryland Route 301 at Maryland Route 405 in Price for a serious crash involving two vehicles with injuries.
Investigators say that 40-year-old William Marsh of Wilmington was driving his Chevy pickup truck on Route 405. When he tried to crossover Route 301, he reportedly failed to yield the intersection right of way, and he was struck by a Honda Accord operated by the driver 31-year-old Ketan Patel of Easton.
Both vehicles became disabled. The Chevy's passenger and Petal were flown by Maryland State Police trooper six to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma for injuries.
Marsh and the remaining Chevy passengers were transported by ground to Chester River Medical Center for injuries. Since then, everyone has been released from care except for the pickup's passenger who remains in stable condition at Shock Trauma.
Marsh was charged and released on traffic citations at the hospital. Speed and alcohol are not contributing factors.
