Southern Accomack County in southeastern Virginia and Northern Northampton County in eastern Virginia until 4:00 PM EDT

At 3:24 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Nassawadox, or 9 miles west of Exmore, moving northeast at 35 mph.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is likely.

This dangerous storm will be near Nassawadox around 3:35 PM EDT Exmore and Willis Wharf around 3:40 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Painter, Birdsnest, Pungoteague, Wardtown, Franktown and Jamesville.
