Salisbury woman accused of assault in Wicomico County

A Salisbury woman is facing assault charges after police say she assaulted a woman in an apartment, on Monday.

The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says that at 12:00 PM, in Salisbury, a deputy responded to an apartment, in the 800 block of Booth Street. Authorities say 34-year-old Latoya Farrare, of Salisbury, allegedly entered a woman's apartment without her permission, and began assaulting her. According to the report, Farrare displayed a knife and threatened to cut her.

Farrare was arrested and charged with burglary third degree, reckless endangerment, and assault second degree. She was later turned over to the Wicomico County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
