Salisbury bike registration program

Safety is always a primary concern for Salisbury University.
The University is once again taking steps to ensure all it’s students feel safe and comfortable.
The University is already known for hosting a program called Safe Ride, a free transportation system available to Salisbury University students at all hours.
But there is another program students should know about.
If you take your bike to the Salisbury Police Station, you can get it registered and receive a code with a serial number that’s etched into your bike.
Mayor Jake Day said, “That’s all part of being safe and being aware of your surroundings, and we encourage all Salisbury University students to be uber conscious of their surroundings.”
Mayor Day said it is also important to be mindful of your belongings and be aware of where you are putting your bike, and always have a bike lock on you.
