Officials: Injuries reported in Milford chicken truck crash

In Milford, officials say they are investigating a crash involving a small vehicle and a chicken truck.

Delaware State Police say on Monday,  a multi-vehicle crash happened just after 3:00 PM, on SR 1 northbound, in the area of Slaughterneck Road.

According to the report, the crash involved a small vehicle and a chicken truck. Authorities say that injuries have been reported, but the exact number and extent of the injuries are unknown at this time.

Officials say all lanes are currently closed in that area, and drivers should use other routes of travel.

The investigation of this crash is still in its early stages.
