Mountaire stuffs over 9,000 back packs in order to give back to fellow employees

School is just around the corner and folks across Delmarva are prepping their kids for that first day of class
One local company decided that it was time for them to step up to help their own fellow co-workers with the beginning of the school year.
The hands behind the packing, 50 Mountaire employees in Selbyville packing over 9,000 back packs.
This idea was actually brought by upper management.
Each and every single person packing is somehow intertwined with the company.
"These are all employees, there's a few volunteers. Folks that worked here before, have come back after they heard about it," Director of Communications Sean McKeon has more.
And we are told everyone has stepped up to give a helping hand, from the highest levels of the company to everything in between.
These backpacks benefit families from two complexes in Sussex County. Mountaire in Millsboro and Selbyville.
Mountaire actually purchased each and every school supply. They could have had the bags prepacked but they wanted to be hands on with the process.
Those back packs will be distributed at the end of their shifts next week and if there are any extra backpacks, they will give them to charity.
