Milford woman arrested for alleged medication theft

A Milford woman was arrested, after police say she stole prescription medications from a home, in Milford.

The Milford Police Department says, on August 1st, a resident of the 100 block of Rockledge Court reported that they noticed that several of their different prescription medications were missing from their home. Police say the victim told them during the late report that the medication went missing back in June.

According to the report, the victim thought there was an issue at the pharmacy, but later said they installed security camera in their home that caught an acquaintance taking the medication. Police say the acquaintance was identified as 35-year-old Kristen Adams, of Milford. Authorities say, on August 4, they interviewed Adams, and she was charged with theft under $1,500 (Deprive Person).

Adams was released on $500 unsecured bail and issued a no contact order with the victim. A future court date in the Court of Common pleas is scheduled for a later date for this case.
