McAllister announces county clerk candidacy

In front of the County Courthouse, James 'Bo' McAllister announced his candidacy for Wicomico County Clerk.
McAllister is looking to replace Mark Bowen who has served in the role since 1987.
The Salisbury native says it will be a tall task for anyone to replace Bowen, but says the right candidate should have legal experience, technological skills and character.
McAllister says he fits the mold, with nearly a decade of experience filing documents, and three years experience using e-filing documents, something he says is key because the county is moving away from paper documents to e-documents.
"I saw that there was a real need with Mr. Bowen stepping down. Someone that can handle the courthouse, familiar with the courthouse and someone that's ready to handle all of those important legal documents."
