Man arrested after reportedly robbing an elderly woman in Dover

A man was arrested after police say he robbed an elderly woman at an ATM, in Dover.
The Dover Police Department says that on Sunday, just after 1:00 PM a 71-year-old woman withdrew an undisclosed amount of money from the drive-up ATM at the Dover Federal Credit Union. According to the report, after the woman received the money, 28-year-old Joshua Lewis got into the woman's vehicle through the passenger side door, and displayed a large knife while demanding money. Police say Lewis told the victim to drive him to another location, but he later fled on foot after seeing several other vehicles in the area.
Authorities say that witnesses told police that Lewis went to a room in the Super Lodge on N. Dupont Highway. Officials say Lewis was then taken into custody.
Lewis was charged with carjacking first degree, robbery first degree, possession of deadly weapon during commission of felony, and possession of deadly weapon by person prohibited. He was later turned over to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on a $77,750 secured bond.
