Judge blocks group’s challenge to Salisbury poultry farm

A judge blocked a group's challenge to a poultry farm in Salisbury on Thursday.

The judge upheld a decision by the Wicomico County Board of Appeals not to hear an appeal from Concerned Citizens Against Industrial C.A.F.Os, according to Wicomico County's Planning and Zoning Director.

The judge said that the group missed a 30 day deadline last November for filing its appeal to a permit that allowed 10 poultry houses to be constructed on North West Road, just north of Naylor Mill Road.
