Gary Traynor appointed as justice of Delaware supreme court

The Supreme Court of Delaware announced a new appointment of a Justice, in Georgetown.
Delaware's Supreme Court says that the honorable Gary F. Traynor was sworn in for his first term as Justice of the Supreme Court of Delaware, on Monday. Officials say that Jusitce Traynor replaces the honorable Randy J. Holland, who retired on March 31.
State officials including Governor John Carney and former Chief justice Myron Steele were present at the ceremony.
According to the Delaware Supreme Court officials, prior to his appointment to Delaware's highest court, Justice Traynor served for two and a half years as an Assistant Public Defender in Sussex County.
Justice Traynor also served as the Managing Director at Prickett, Jones, and Elliot from 2005 to 2007, after changing his law focus from general litigation, including criminal defense and personal injury, to corporate and commercial matters, until he left the firm in 2014.
