Easton Airport and Talbot Historical Society team up to produce history of Eastern Shore Aviation

The Easton Airport and the Talbot Historical Society have teamed up to produce a history of the Eastern Shore aviation and are now asking for the public's help.

They say they are searching for anyone who has information based on the beginning of aviation on the Eastern Shore. That includes stories based on early pilots, early airfields, and aircrafts.

The group hopes this partnership will be a great way to show the development of aviation.

After gathering enough content, this will become a permanent exhibit at the Easton Airport.

Some history and background on the Easton Airport. It was actually built in 1943 and served primarily as an auxiliary military field during the war.
