Cambridge man facing sex offense charges

A Cambridge man is facing sex offense charges, after police say he had sex with a minor and recorded video.

The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office says on July 31st, a deputy arrested 24-year-old Mason Budd, of Cambridge. According to the August 3rd press release, received by 47 ABC on Monday, Budd was charged in connection with an incident, where police say he had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl and recorded video.

Budd was charged with third degree sex offense, fourth degree sex offense sexual contact, fourth degree sex offense, vaginal intercourse, second degree assault, performing an unnatural or perverted sex act, and photographing a minor engaged in a sex act.

He is currently in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a $30,000 unsecured bond.
