A nine month old infant and several others injured in Snow Hill crash

Police are investigating a crash that injured several people including a nine month old infant, in Snow Hill.
Maryland State Police say, just before 2:00 PM, two vehicles were involved in a crash in the area of Route 113 and Route 12, on Wednesday.
According to the report, 24-year-old Brittani Selert, of New Church, VA, was driving a 2004 Dodge Durango southbound on 113 approaching a red light at the intersection of 113 and Route 12. Authorities say Selert did not stop at the light, hitting a 2015 Ford Focus driven by Kim Poole, of Berlin, who was on Route 12 preparing to get on 113.
Troopers say that there were four people in the Durango at the time of the crash including Selert, the driver, Nicole Parks, a nine month old infant, and a nine year old child. They were transported to Atlantic General Hospital for their injuries. According to the report, Poole,the driver, and passenger Gloria Lambert were injured while in the Ford Focus at the time of the crash. Officers say that Lambert was transported to PRMC for her injuries, and Poole was transported to Maryland Shock Trauma by Trooper 6 for injuries she sustained during the crash.
MSP says that charges are pending as the investigation of the crash is ongoing.
