2017 Watermelon Queens in Rehoboth Beach

The 2017 National Watermelon Queen and Mar- Del Watermelon Queen will be handing out free slices of watermelon on August 2, 2017.

The Mar-Del Watermelon Association and the Delaware Department of Agriculture are proud to announce that the national and regional watermelon queens will be on the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk and at Giant Foods.

The queens will be giving out free water melon slices until they run out.

Locations:

• Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk- 10:45 a.m.-1 p.m.
• Giant Foods at Lighthouse Plaza- 3p.m.- 6p.m.
  • A watermelon carving contest judging by Giant associates will begin at 4 p.m.
  • A watermelon eating contest will be open to the public at 4:30 p.m.
