Two teens arrested for striking male teen in the face, taking his money in Easton

Police say that two teens were arrested for allegedly robbing a 16-year-old boy in Easton on Sunday.

According to the Easton Police Department, on Sunday, officers responded to a complaint of a robbery. The officer met with a 16-year-old boy and his mother at the Easton Hospital.

According to the teen, he was skateboarding on the Rails and Trails near the bridge when he was approached by two other teens who knocked him off his skateboard and struck him in the face. One of the teens then reportedly stole his wallet which had $150.

The victim was treated at the Easton Hospital for minor injuries related to the robbery. As the investigation continued, two suspects were developed and charged. Two 15-year-old Easton teens were taken into custody and referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.

The teens were charged with second degree assault, robbery and theft under $1000. Both of the teens were released into the custody of their parents.
