Suspect sought in pedestrian robbery investigation in Camden

State Police are looking for a suspect in the robbery of a pedestrian, that happened in Camden on Wednesday.
The Delaware State Police say they are investigating a street-side robbery that occurred around 2:00 AM, just south of Voshells Mill Star Road, in Camden. According to the report, the victim was walking southbound on the shoulder of the northbound lanes of South DuPont Highway, when he was reportedly hit in the back of the head with an unknown object. Police say that after the victim fell to the ground, the suspect took his wallet from his pocket and removed some cash from the wallet. The suspect reportedly then fled from the area. Authorities say the victim was slightly injured and was transported to a local hospital.
Officials say the suspect is described as a male wearing a white t-shirt. It is not known if the suspect was armed. If anyone has any information related to this incident, call Troop 3 Major Crimes Unit at 302-697-2104.
