Smyrna hires outside firm to investigate town matters

The Town of Smyrna passed a motion in June to hire a firm to investigate matters in the town.

According to Smyrna officials, the town hired an independent consultant to investigate matters involving the police department raised by the Fraternal Order of Police.

Officials say that the investigation is ongoing.
