Police respond to local hospital, Easton robbery investigation continues

Easton Police are investigating a robbery after responding to a local hospital on Monday.

The Easton Police Department say they responded to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center on Monday in relation to a robbery. Once on scene, officers talked to 25-year-old Mario Juarez Mendez of Easton, who reportedly had injuries.

According to the report, Mendez was attacked by five men on Sunday around 9 PM in the area of East Dover Street. The victim allegedly reported that his IPhone four, watch, wallet, and $150 were stolen. Authorities say Mendez was treated for his injuries and released from the hospital.
