Police looking for suspect who allegedly went into woman’s Hartly home

Police say that they are investigating a burglary that happened east of Hartly on Wednesday night.

According to Delaware State Police, around 11:44 p.m. on Wednesday, a male suspect went into a home through an unlocked window on Kohouts Drive.

The window led to a 75-year-old woman's bed. The suspect then reportedly grabbed the woman's leg. The woman reportedly woke up to the suspect going through the window before the suspect allegedly fled out of the same window in an unknown direction.

The woman was unharmed during the incident and the suspect was not able to take anything. The suspect is described as a man wearing shorts. It is unclear if he was armed with a weapon.
