Police: $150,000 worth of marijuana seized during Salisbury traffic stop

Authorities say they found $150,000 worth of marijuana during a traffic stop on Tuesday.
The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says they pulled over a vehicle in the area of Hampshire Street and Route 113, in Salisbury. During the stop, deputies say a k-9 scan outside of the vehicle, prompted a search inside the vehicle. According to the report, authorities found a wooden crate inside the vehicle that was filled with 34 heat-sealed plastic bags of marijuana. Deputies report that the weight of the seized marijuana is approximately 38 lbs., with an estimated street value of $150,000.
Officials say they arrested the driver, 55-year-old Phillip George Dyce of Salisbury, and charged him with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, and possession of marijuana over 10 grams. Dyce was turned over to the Wicomico County Detention Center where he is pending a bond review in District Court.
