One person injured in boating incident near Harpoon Hanna’s

 An overnight boating incident happened in Sussex County on July 21, 2017.

Officials say that they received a call around 1:00 a.m. about a boating incident.

It happened at Roosevelt Avenue off of route 54 near Harpoon Hanna's.

Three  people were on the boat and one person was injured. That victim was transported to Christiana Hospital with back injuries .

Delaware Natural Resources Police left the scene around 3:30 a.m.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
