Christian band helps local church with benefit concert

In Crisfield, people had quite the treat at Crisfield Wesleyan Church Tueday evening.
The church held a benefit concert Tuesday to help raise money for an emergency air conditioning repair, a repair that would cost about $4,000.
The stars of it, Nashville-based Christian band Allegiance Trio.
The church reached out to them spur of the moment to see if they could help and they jumped right in, during their off-day on their 12-day tour.
The crowd certainly appreciated it.
"We decided when we get to a place where we can help others and give back and sew into other people then we want to do that and so that's one of the reasons why coming anywhere whether a big town or small town like Crisfield where we get to sing for hundreds instead of thousands. We just want to be there for the people because we have been blessed," says Trio singer, Kasey Kemp.
With the nearly sold out crowd, the church is hopeful they'll raise enough to cover the costs of the repairs, something imperative during these hot summer months.
