47 ABC finds the most unique food at Delaware State Fair

After riding the rides and playing the games, it can build quite the appetite and that's why we walked around to find the most unique food the fair has to offer.

First up, Chester's Gators and Tater's with their infamous gator mac and cheese, better known as the "mac attack".

It's home made mac and cheese made from scratch with gator on top. It's their biggest seller.

But the mac isn't the only thing catching everyone's attention. Their kabob's are quite the people pleaser, from the alligator bites to their mako shark on a stick.

And let's face it, what's the fair without some fried food and what stood out to us, was the fried jalapeños.

But if those aren't making you salivate, we have a sandwich that conquers both sweet and savory taste buds. And that's the donut burger from Little Richards Enterprise.

It's a concept taken from the Food Network but they were able to add their own spice to the mix by adding bacon and donuts from Krispie Kreme.

And with an explosion of different flavors, you get the sweet, you get the salt, and you even get the smoke from the bacon.

Beyond those three options there's so much more the fair has to offer so make sure you come down and try it yourself.
