Summer is here, and Independence Day is right around the corner, have you planned where you are going to view fireworks from yet? Well, you’re in luck! BETHANY BEACH, Del. – Tuesday, July 4 – Bethany Beach 34th Annual Independence Day Celebration. The 2017 theme is “Bethany Beach Celebrates!” The parade will begin at Noon at the intersection of Pennsylvania and Garfield Parkway and take its traditional 2-mile route through town. DOVER, Del – Tuesday, July 4 – Fireworks at dusk around 9:20 PM, at Legislative Mall. The 2017 Dover Fourth of July fireworks show by Serpico Fireworks, set to music from the Broadway hip-hop phenomenon “Hamilton.” Festival with food, vendors, music, a parade, special events, and the very best fireworks show for miles, goes all day starting at 9:00 AM. LEWES, Del. – Tuesday, July 4 – The City of Lewes continues its long tradition of hosting old-fashioned games for children on Second Street beginning at 9:00 AM. MILTON, Del. – Tuesday – July 4 – The Town of Milton will celebrate all of these traditions and more on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 in Milton Memorial Park beginning at 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Festivities include a dunk tank, a pie baking contest, train rides, relay and sack races, chess matches and free games and activities for children.  A highlight will be a bike decorating contest and bike parade at 11:00 AM. REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Sunday, July 2 – The city of Rehoboth Beach will celebrate with the Rehoboth Fireworks Cruise at 6:45 PM to 11:00 PM! It's a great chance to view the fabulous fireworks from the water. On-board, there will be live entertainment from the crowd-favorite band, Glass Onion. BERLIN, Md. – Monday, July 3 – Burley Oak Brewing Co. will be hosting an all-ages family friendly event during the Town of Berlin’s fireworks display July 3, from 6:00 PM-11:00 PM. There is a $10 Admission which includes a beer ticket Burley Oak will be offering 20 different beers at $5 a glass, along with Burley’s new “Burley Beverage Line” that includes cold brew coffee, nitro coffee, root beer, rotating flavored sodas, as well as kombucha and other handcrafted nonalcoholic beverages. There will be live music, and a variety of children's games and activities, including a bounce house. Parking will be available at The Maryland Coastal Dispatch, Berlin Falls, and a small handicapped lot will be available at the brewery as well. You are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Tuesday, July 4 on the Choptank River the City of Cambridge will have a fireworks display at dusk just after 9:00 PM. CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Tuesday, July 4 – Chestertown's July 4th Fireworks will begin at 9:20 PM in  Chestertown. The Wilmer Park is a spectacular viewing spot for the annual 4th of July fireworks shot over the Chester River. OCEAN PINES, Md. – Tuesday – July 4 – The Ocean Pines Association will also provide its annual fireworks display shortly after dusk at Showell Park on Racetrack Road.  The display will begin shortly after dark.  Recommended viewing locations are Showell Elementary School, the Community Church at Ocean Pines, Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School and The Pavilions.  The Community Church will be selling refreshments and free parking will be available.  For more information, call the Ocean Pines Recreation and Parks Department at 410-641-7052. Information regarding additional recreational programs is available at OceanPines.org

SNOW HILL, Md. – Saturday, July 1 – Family Fun for Independence Day Celebration – Come to Snow Hill's Independence Day Celebration on July 1rd from 5:30 PM -10:00 PM, which will showcase a fireworks display at Sturgis Park on River Street. ST. MICHAELS, Md. – Saturday, July 1 – Fireworks and Big Band Night from 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM, at Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, on N. Talbot Street, St. Michaels. CBMM’s exhibits and campus will close early at 5: 00 PM for Big Band Night, and re-open at 6: 00 PM for guests to enter the campus for the event. Admission to Big Band Night is $5 for CBMM members and $10 for non-members, with children under 6 free. After 8:45 PM, admission will be reduced to $2 for those watching the fireworks only.
