Water Valve removed in Salisbury

Officials say that as a part of the city of Salisbury's efforts to improve water distribution, the Department of Public Works will be taking away a second valve at the intersection of West Isabella Street and Claiborne Street.

West Isabella Street will be closed to through traffic from Lake Street to Cypress Street.

A detour through King Street going East and West will be open. The work will be performed starting at 9:00 a.m., and it will end by 4:30 p.m.

All locators and Central Alarm will know about this event. Officials say that they appreciate people's patience and consideration. People are told to contact the Public Works Utilities Branch at 410-548-3105 for more information if needed.
