Two injured in crash at Race Track Road and Route 50

Maryland State Police are investigating a three-vehicle crash that happened Thursday afternoon in Berlin at the intersection of U.S. Route 50 and Maryland Route 589.

According to officials, the crash happened shortly after 12 PM and sent two people to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Traffic on eastbound Route 589 and westbound Route 50 was impacted, though roads are now back open, officials confirmed.
