Salisbury Fest Returns

After a two-year hiatus Salisbury Fest returned Friday June 2 as the Downtown Salisbury Festival.
"We're super excited cause we love the beer garden, we love live music and whenever we can get down here it's super fun." said Chelsea Chamel, who's lived in the area for seven years.
Salisbury's Arts and entertainment director Jamie Heater told 47 ABC there's tons of attractions for everyone.
"We have carnival rides and bouncy houses and barnyard animals and a full entertainment lineup scheduled Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday 12 to 5," Heater said.
Heater said the petting zoo and some of the vendors won't be here until Saturday, but the fun will start as soon as the festival kicks off.
"I think it's going to be great for the city to have people come in and enjoy the Salisbury and just enjoy the festival and the different varieties of things for the family, I think it's a great idea," said Melissa Lehner
The festival is expected to bring more foot traffic downtown – something Chamel says is a definite plus.
"I''m happy to see more going on Downtown Salisbury, bringing more people," Chamel said
