Police: Dover woman’s death caused by tractor trailer

Police continue their investigation into the death of a Dover woman who was discovered on Monday morning.

Police say that the death of the woman in the area of Conwell Street and College Road was caused by a car crash. 58-year-old Pamela Guy was killed when a tractor trailer reportedly drove over her on Monday morning.

During the investigation, it was learned that Guy was known to drink heavily and often sleep in random spots in the neighborhood. Last Sunday, Guy had reportedly been drinking heavily and helping the driver of the tractor trailer wash his car.

Later that night, police say, Guy came back to the area, and fell asleep in front of the parked tractor trailer.

When the driver, a 52-year-old man from Dover, left for work on Monday morning, the tractor trailer reportedly ran over the victim causing her death.
