Police charge man with operation of a boat while impaired in Kent County, Md.

A Georgetown, Delaware man is facing up to $2,500 in fines, after police say he was operating a boat while impaired.
The Maryland Natural Resources Police say they interrupted a man as he attempted to dock at Turner’s Creek Landing off the Sassafras River in Kent County on June 11 around 8:30 PM. Officials identified the man as William Taylor Frank Jr. of Georgetown.
According to officials, the 33 year old man failed the breathalyzer test with a blood alcohol content of 0.13. Police then reportedly issued him two citations for impaired operation, one citation for reckless operation of a vessel and one citation for failing to have a sufficient number of life jackets aboard.
Frank is scheduled to appear in Kent County District Court July 19. If he is found guilty of all charges, officials say he could be fined as much as $2,500.
