Everyone loves a great love story, whether it's love at first sight, a long distance relationship or even a re-kindled one. Park Place Jewelers in Ocean City also loves a great love story; that's why they held a contest for couples to enter in for a chance to win a ring valued at $5,000 or store credit for that value.

The lucky winners of the competition are Armajeanne Harmon and her boyfriend Mike! 47 ABC spoke with Harmon who says, "I was told if you win this contest, if you get this ring, I'm definitely going to marry you. That was the proposal."

Harmon and Mike were high school sweethearts. Harmon tells 47 ABC, "During high school we were inseparable, we were in the class photo side by side, then when I went to college we kind of drifted apart and there was no closure, so it was one of those once in love, first in love, forever love."

Even though they went their separate ways, the two stayed friends over the years. Harmon tells 47 ABC, "Life brought us back together after almost 30-some years. That first love and that one that got away, very seldom so you see that those people have the opportunity to get back together like years and years later."

Realizing after 30 years they didn't want to be apart made their love story perfect for the Park Place Jewelers love story competition.

Harmon tells 47 ABC, "When I told my sister I said, you're not going to believe this, there was a contest about a love story, and before I could even finish my sentence she said, well I know you'd win if you told your love story."

After receiving their entry, Park Place Jewelers owner Todd Ferrante was sold. Ferrante tells 47 ABC, "There's such a span of their love from the time they started when they were younger and they fell in love, she was a cheerleader and he was on the benches and she was looking at him and then all these years later they came back and rekindled their spirit and got back together. We know that we are in love we've always been in love with each other and that's to me the unique part of the love story."
