One high school in Salisbury creates fundraiser for Brooke’s Closet

A local high school is collecting toys to donate to Brooke's Toy Closet.
Brooke's Toy Closet was created by Brooke Mulford.
This was a toy closet created in 2014 for pediatric patients at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. It was a way to bring comfort and cheer to these children.
12-year-old Brooke has been battling neuroblastoma since she was four.
On Tuesday, Brooke's mother posted on Facebook that her chemo has stopped and they are doing everything they can to make her feel comfortable during this time.
This touched two teachers at James Bennett High School, since they have been following her story for several years.
They created this toy drive in her honor.
If you would like to donate a gift, donations should be new books or toys that will fit in a cabinet. No gently used or handmade items.
This box is located in the central office and media center from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
