NASA finally launched its rocket producing colorful artificial clouds

After 11 failed attempts, NASA Wallops was finally able to launch a sounding rocket at 4:25 AM on June 29. Very specific weather conditions were needed for this launch, causing it to be delayed multiple times.
This rocket ejected canisters that deployed blue-green and red vapor that formed artificial clouds. These clouds, also known as vapor tracers, will help scientists study the ionosphere and aurora (Northern Lights).
The launch was seen from New York to North Carolina, and the flight lasted a total of 8 minutes. Here's a time lapse of the artificial clouds taken by NASA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRbFCOYpXEo&feature=youtu.be
