Multiple people arrested after reported Seaford prostitution ring

Stephanie Brittingham, 43, Seaford, Holly Hoopes-Marine, 28, Seaford, Calvin Sheppard, 66, Bridgeville, Herbert Bines, 49, Seaford, Brianna Himmel, 25, Georgetown

Police say that in a response to citizen and area resident's complaints, members from Seaford Police, Georgetown, Laurel and Ocean View police departments conducted a joint undercover operation into prostitution in the Front Street Area of Seaford.

The operation was reportedly conducted using both undercover male and female officers.

The Seaford Police Department says that they will continue enforcement efforts into the type of illegal activity.

During the operation, 43-year-old Stephanie Brittingham of Seaford was arrested and charged with prostitution, and loitering to engage in prostitution. She was released on $300 unsecured bond. 28-year-old Holly Hoopes-Marine of Seaford was arrested and charged with prostitution, loitering to engage in prostitution and six counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on $1,100 unsecured bond.

66-year-old Calvin Sheppard of Bridgeville was charged with patronizing a prostitute. He was released on $100 unsecured bond. 49-year-old Herbert Bines of Seaford was arrested and charged with patronizing a prostitute. He was arrested on $100 bond. 31-year-old Wilberto Alejandro of Seaford was arrested and charged with patronizing a prostitute. He was released on $250 bond.

Lastly, 25-year-old Brianna Himmel of Georgetown was arrested and charged with criminal impersonation, possession of drug paraphernalia and third degree criminal trespassing. She was released on a criminal summons.
