Md. law enforcement kicks off torch run in OC

On Monday in Ocean City, Maryland law enforcement kicked off a fundraising event with a running start.
The torch run is part of a fundraiser for Special Olympics Maryland. This week long movement – involves thousands of officers and the public with events happening throughout the state.
"It's a fundraising component for Maryland special Olympics, but it's also to promote Maryland special Olympics , and give opportunities for our special athletes ," says Lietenant Earl Staner, from the MSP Berlin Barrack.
The next torch run will take place tomorrow in Cambridge. The goal is to raise $15,000 by the end of the week.
