Ocean City Public Works crews say they were busy overnight clearing sea grass that washed up Wednesday along the beach.

Large amounts of sea grass piled up from around 94th Street up to the Delaware state line. Officials are now working with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources to have the grasses removed.

Officials warn residents to avoid walking on the grass piles because there could be sea life or debris hidden underneath.
