DSP conducting Long Neck death investigation

The Delaware State Police are currently conducting a death investigation after an adult female was found dead in the bathroom of a local McDonald's.

According to police, at 7:12 p.m. Saturday June 10, 2017, troopers responded to the McDonalds, located at 24943 John J. Williams Highway, after they were told a female subject was found unconscious in the ladies bathroom. 

Sussex County Paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the unidentified victim dead at the scene.

DSP is currently not identifying the victim pending notification of next of kin.

Police say an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death is being done and the investigation is in its early stages.

We are told foul play is not suspected.
