Del. adoption event finds forever homes for more than 1,100 pets

This weekend the Brandywine Valley SPCA in Wilmington  was able to secure homes for 1,134 pets.

This was all part of their mega adoption event.Officials from Brandywine tells us their goal was to find a home for at least 800 pets and attract adopters who might not otherwise consider a rescued pet. We're told the pets came from throughout Delaware.

There are still 4 dogs and 70 adult cats still available for adoption.
