Prison reform marchers to rally in Dover

Hundreds are expected to gather for the March For Prison Reform in Dover on Thursday.

The event has been organized by the Delaware Coalition for Prison Reform and Justice.

According to the coalition, their goal is to shine a light on and bring focus to the urgent need for Delaware to change the way the Department of Correction is run.

The rally will begin at legislative hall at 11:45 AM followed by a march to the governor's mansion.

The Delaware Coalition for Prison Reform and Justice have been calling for attention to this matter since the fatal hostage situation in Smyrna earlier this year.
