Occupied vehicle in Dover struck by gunfire

Dover Police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting on South New Street that struck a vehicle being driven by a 41-year-old woman.

Shortly after 10 PM police received a call from the driver stating her window had been shattered by gunfire as she was driving, officials said. The woman reportedly did not see who shot at her or where the bullet came from. Police say they searched the area but did not find any suspects. The woman was not injured.
